One of the purposes of this website is to provide teachers, actors and directors with ideas to enliven the classroom and rehearsal space. Many of these games are not in the (yellow) book but are new games I have tried out or discovered in the class. I will be posting one a week so please check back often!

Here is a great game to get students talking and interacting with each other. The students found it a lot of fun, so I thought you might like to try it too.
Sometimes my students lead the warm-up in class. This group is a speech class and one student, who has a singing background, led a collective vocal warm-up.
NATIONAL DAY. This is an impromptu speech activity, and a great way to improve fluency, test your nerve as you think up something on the spot, and gain confidence by speaking in front of others.
